At the end of each year we go to the bishop and have an annual tithing settlement, where we declare if we are full-tithe payers. My experience has given me an understanding that our personal relationship with the bishop is often a good indication of our personal relationship with the Lord. Too often we think of going to the bishop only when we have a problem or after we have done something wrong. It helps us to make a commitment with the bishop so we can work together on our plans to go on a mission and prepare ourselves for temple marriage.
How can you help the bishop and improve your relationship with him? Here are some suggestions:. Make a point to say hello to the bishop each Sunday. There is no greater gift you can give than a cheery greeting to let the bishop know everything is all right in your life. In fact, just being at the meetings on Sunday will help the bishop to know how you feel about yourself and about him.
Invite the bishop to come to some of your youth activities. I can remember going on a campout when I was a bishop and falling asleep in the back of the bus. Somewhere there is a picture of me asleep with my mouth open and a wild flower placed inside. My own sons were part of the practical joke. We all grew closer together when the youth got me out of my blue suit and enjoyed some relaxing time with me. If the bishop knows how much you want him to be with you, he will try to find time to be part of your special activities.
Occasionally invite the bishop to participate with you during your quorum meetings and classes. Some of my most productive interaction with the youth has been when they prepared questions in advance for the bishop to discuss in a class period together. Although the bishop is specifically assigned to meet with the priests quorum each Sunday, he may be available from time to time to meet with others, too. Make an appointment with the bishop when you are prepared to talk to him about your goals in life.
It would help if you would also talk to your mother or father before seeing the bishop. Your parents are an important link in your eternal plans, too. If you are having trouble communicating with your parents, let the bishop help you to open a line of communication between your parents and you.
Participate in teaching, baptizing, or activating a friend. The greatest missionary work you will do in your life will be as a good example for your friends. Introduce your less active or nonmember friends to the bishop. The bishopric youth committee can help you think of ways to bring friends like these closer to the Lord so they can experience the gift of the Holy Ghost in their lives. There is no greater joy in life than sharing the gospel.
Suddenly, he seems to realize that he's led an evil life…but then he goes right back to demanding more lapis lazuli for his tomb, as well as various other decorations. After more of this, the bishop turns and gets mad at his sons. He's convinced that they're going to leave him with a cheap and leaky tomb. He throws them out of his room and tells them that he's just going to lie back and wait to see if dead Gandolf gives the bishop a jealous look. After all, the bishop notes, his sons' mother was a really good-looking gal.

This is my forth time. I love wine paring course menu. For this time, I thought that dolce was a bit too rich and could not finish them all.
After all the meat dish, I think I'd prefer fresh gelato with sherry or espresso with chocolate cake without peanut butter ice cream But we had a good time. Class from aperitif to dessert. A really special place to dine. Will definitely be back. Good was interesting and innovative.
We had our work Xmas party there over th weekend, as always the food was first class with the service to match!! They know how to cook. I've visited Bishop Sessa twice this year and whether you come for dinner or for dessert the food is always great. Beautiful food and wine! Had a wonderful time with my family dining here last night, food and service exceptional. Will be back for sure! Had an amazing dinner here! Definitely will come back to Sydney for this!!

Good choice of wines. Bishop sessa is one of my favorite restaurants in surry hills. Love, love, love this restaurant. Beautiful, creative food. Degustations to die for. This is truly one of Sydney's hidden gems! Excellent food we love the degustation menu also reasonably priced. Wine list is comprehensive but not pretentious. All the staff are attentive, respectful and efficient.
Highly recommend for groups and romantic lunches. Toilet is on first floor up tight staircase so couldn't recommend for disabled. We visited Bishop Sessa twice now. First on a date night, and we had such a great time we returned with a large table of friends to try their degustation menu. Both visits were an unqualified success. On our date night we ordered from the menu and every dish was flawless, with the charcuterie board for two an absolute stand out, and the duck breast was simply divine with its crispy skin and juicy, tender meat.

The degustation menu was also a stand out — we are still getting compliments from our friends for taking them to Bishop Sessa. Dear Bishop Sessa team, we came on Friday night group of 7 for the degustation menu. Each course was fantastic with delicious balanced matching wines. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. It was great value for money.
Thank you for the birthday attention that you did for our friend when you served the dessert. We will come back for sure and spread the word about your wonderful restaurant. We had such a great time that we were the last ones to leave! Amazing food, awesome staff and service! Hubby and I had the degustation menu, I had advised them I am pregnant everything was well cooked and prepared for me!
Been here a few times actually, but visited last night after a long while. Food was still phenomenal as the last visit, and kudos to the friendly staff that accommodated a little 8 month old princess. Not sure if babies come in a lot, but she certainly loved the duck fat chips! My girl friends loved the wagyu!
